Who Can Come
Since we have an open play environment, we require that all dogs be evaluated by Wag More Dogs staff before attending daycare or boarding. The evaluation takes about 15 minutes during which time we will introduce your dog to the facility and gradually have them meet a few dogs. Dogs who who are friendly, social, generally healthy and demonstrate a good fit for the environment will be admitted. Most dogs pass with flying colors. They will then be free to come anytime for daycare or boarding. To save time, please fax/email completed enrollment forms and up to date vaccinations prior to your evaluation appointment. In order to maintain our clean and safe environment, we require the following of all our canine clients:
- Must be at least 12 weeks old
- Over 7 months are required to be spayed or neutered
- Proof of DHLPP or DA2P, Bordetalla and rabies vaccinations
- Must be socialized and non-aggressive
- Free of fleas, ticks and have had not communicable diseases with in the last 3 days
Evaluation Times:
Mon-Fri 7:00 am to 8:00am, 6:00pm to 7:00 pm
Saturday 8:00am to 11:00 am, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Sunday by appointment only from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Boarding Dogs: All boarding dogs who have not attended our daycare are required to attend a half-day of daycare (including nap time) to ensure they will enjoy their stay at Wag More Dogs (fee is $22).
- During the day of play we are watching to see how your dog is with other dogs, if he calms down after a while, if he has severe separation issues or if he is disruptive to the pack. At the end of his day, we will let you know if we think he qualifies to spend nights at Wag More Dogs.
- If he passes, you can now schedule him for his sleepover and leave a one night deposit that will be applied toward your boarding invoice. (Deposits can be refunded if given 3 days advance notice of cancellation.)
